Our mission statement

Salzburger Burgen und Schlösser Betriebsführung is an organization similar to a company of the Province of Salzburg. It is responsible for the maintenance and operation of Fortress Hohensalzburg, Castle Fortress Hohenwerfen, Castle Mauterndorf, Fortress Kniepass and the Alte Residenz in Salzburg. It is mainly financed by its own funds from admissions, rentals and leases.
